Curvy body types, often called “hourglass” generally have proportioned shoulders, bust and hips, a softly defined waist curve and a rounded bottom.

TIPS

  • V-necks, U-necks and Scoopnecks balance your shoulders and reveal your collarbone…NOT if you are D cup.
  • Halter dresses or tops flatter curvy bodies. They frame the face and neck and accentuate your proportions.
  • Wrap shirts or dresses enhance your proportioned figure.
  • Pants that have a slightly lower waist are best, a bootcut is ideal.
  • Make the most of a small midsection. Belt your dresses, jackets and sweaters at the waist.
